God's Plan of Salvation

This conflict burns in my veins. I feel injustice surround,stopping my movement in Hope. The stinging words of the crowd, they speak to me as if I lost my mind, like I'm some kind of joke. I see the enemies rage. I hear the sickening voice taunt. I feel his wicked eyes shine.Hatred's more powerful or so it would seem, sapping my belief in all the things you have shown in the secret. My friends and family just scream, angry at you and they cry out to me. They speak sincere unbelief and inside them they mean it.

You carry His image in gold around your neck as a token of your wealth but not your gratitude.Your face was the first he saw in the audience of His execution. How can you honestly believe your treasure pleases Him?As if money is a sign of a successful God. Your crucifix means Nothing to me. Your crucifix embarrasses me. Melt it down and give it away. Your crucifix holds no meaning! How can you stand there and use Him as a sex symbol, and not fear for your soul? Can you even imagine the pain? You have no concept. You couldn't possibly appreciate the suffering!

I've had these thoughts brewing in my head for a few days now, and I've been intending to write them out. I wasn't sure where, but this might be the most appropriate place. I'm going to try posting it here first.

When I sin and ask for forgiveness, I sometimes promise him that I wont do it again. Then the next day (or couple of days later) I break that promise. I wonder if that causes God to reject you? Or turn his back on you? I feel bad for breaking those promises. Maybe promising God that you wont do a particular sin any more is a bad idea? What does it mean to ask forgiveness then "turn away from it"? I thought that was to promise him you wont do it any more. Grrrr....all the christian language/sayings confuse me so much. Like, "leave your sin at the alter" What on earth does that mean?

and any pleasure in it goes out the window quickly.....
It is such a small little life
But following Jesus! Man what an adventure I have been on the last 15 years....I have never been bored, scared perhaps, overwhemled, but never bored....it has been larger than me.

If you think about mastubation or viewing porn, it is so small, your whole focus is on you, or if you a working as a sex worker, your whole focus is on getting the money. It is boring and ugly and predictble.

This devotional study came to me today, and I thought I'd share it. I hope and pray it blesses you:

In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

Consider this scenario: A person spends the entire day walking from Point A to Point B with his best friend. However, he speaks to his friend only a little in the morning and mumbles a few words at night before falling to sleep, ignoring him for the rest of the day. What would be his friend's likely assessment of the state of their friendship?

So uh, why does God choose to speak to "some" people and make the rest all frustrated and stuff? We want to hear him, but he doesn't budge...he only talks to a select few. Umm...why, oh WHY does he do this to us? Hm? It's quite frustrating to really really want God to tell me something, but he just crosses his arms and walks off :((.

God Can Still Use Us All
It reminds me that God can always use me, despite my imperfections.

Noah got drunk.
Abraham lied about his wife.
Jacob was a swindler.
Moses stuttered.
He also had an anger problem.
Hosea married a prostitute.
David had an affair.
Solomon had a bunch of wives.
The woman at the well had a bunch of husbands.
Naomi was a widow.
Sarah was too old.
David was too young.
Miriam was a gossip.
Jonah ran away from God.
Thomas doubted.
Jeremiah got depressed.
Elijah got burnt out.
Martha was too busy.

OF LOVE AND PROMISE TO YOU........

Philippians 4:13- I am able to do ALL things through Him (Christ) who strengthens me.

Philippians 4:19- And my God will supply ALL your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7= Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7) And the PEACE of God,which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ.

Let’s pretend that you see my car for sale on a website... and what you see you like. But when you get to the bottom of the listing, you read that I would like to keep the glove compartment. Would you think that I was crazy?

If you think about it though... that is how some people think that they can come to Jesus.
