I'm beginning to think the reason some of the posts on this forum start getting more and more narrow and thus longer, I wonder if it is becuz the post page is too long? Like maybe if you made the settings for each post page to be shorter, maybe it will stop causing the posts to narrow when there are many responses going back and forth? Do you understand what I'm saying, and do you think it would help? It gets more and more frustrating to see the longer posts start getting so narrow that they eventually show just one or few words each line, so then it makes it a mile long! Can you see if that wuld help?

Tonya, I'm not seeing that problem in my browsers. I wonder if the browser you're using has some settings that need to be changed, or maybe the version is outdated and it needs to be upgraded. Web browsers differ slightly and sometimes they all don't display the same pages the same way.
If you are using a Windows PC, you can try doing a 'Windows Update' to get the latest software updates.

I didn't know that web browsers, whatever that means (obviously I'm not very computer smart!), could cause that, my husband was sure it was the problem with the website itself. I'll ask him to check the browser and the link you gave and see if we can't take care of it! Thanks!
By the way, a computer problem, one of my kids was playing online and somehow we think he did something on one of the kids game sites that caused a pop up that requires you to put in your username and password in order to view your emails or send/receive, and of course, we don't know the password cuz we didn't set it up. We can't get it off and so now we have to read our emails on yahoo. Any idea what we can do about that?

For some reason, the updates did not help any. I may just need to contact the windows people and ask them about the specific problem. Hopefully we can find something to help! Thanks anyway.

What do you mean by the posts getting longer? I'm not having that problem. Are you suggesting that we shorten the page so that fewer posts are shown on each page?

...that some posts that get lots of responses back and forth and the page gets longer and longer to accomodate the back and forth responses, then sometimes, for some strange and annoying reason,
the posts at the lower part of the page starts to narrow instead of being this wide.... the more someone types and responds

Can you point a out a post or topic in particular, because I've never seen that happening. I wonder if other people are having the same issue.

Where you (and others) go back and forth some with ransomedbyjesus, her post on "Why?", in the general discussion section. The further you go down the page, the more the posts become more narrow. You don't see it on your computer? Why would it just be messed up on mine?

Hmmmm.....no, it's not doing that on my computer. You might want to contact the tech guy, RogerTQ, on this site and describe the problem to him. He could probably be of more help than I.
