hmm, i thought the edit account tab was the area that Beloved_Branch was talking about. I don't have the "user profile" tab showing up at all. I only have the view and edit account tabs.
Mine is also still showing only the view and edit account tabs then under edit account, I have 4 tabs which are Account settings, Contact, Personal, and Statistics.
but the site looks fantastic, I really appreciate all the hard work you've put into this.
I have noticed that a few people I clicked on have their stories and info about them. I want to add mine, but can't find user profile or anything that allows me to add my personal info/background. What can I do?

I am not sure why you don't have a user profile tab and other people do.
Regarding your buddylist: I added quick links to everybody's profile to access your inbox, buddylist and other links. Just go to your profile and click the buddylist link and you will be able to approve or deny friend requests.

I was having that problem, but I figured it out, thanks to all of the advice...but for a while, ya, I wasn't getting the profile option showing up.
The format for the site appears slightly different...did you do some revamping? If so, I believe you may have fixed the glitch.

This is the way i did it. Not sure if it's the primary way but at least it works.
I found my profile on the forum by looking for any of my posts. You can click the link below for a direct link to your own profile

You will notice that you are in the view tab. Next to it, is an area that says edit account. Here is a link to the area you should click on to.

Click on there and you should have access to all of the areas of your profile that you can edit.
