PRAISE and UPDATE on the Christmas out reach 2009

WOW!!! So it has been over a month all ready since the Christmas outreach and for the delay in writing I am sorry. I pray everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that God will blow your socks off in 2010.

As you know many ladies came out to help fill the special Christmas gifts that were handed out to the precious ladies in the clubs. In total we filled 260 gift bags for the girls and 7 baskets filled with goodies for the staff and management. Thank you to John Corbin for his CD and to everyone who donated items such as coffee mugs, cookies, finances, lotions, teas, Christmas books and more for the bags. You are a blessings and I pray you will be blessed beyond anything you can imagine.

Saturday November 28th was the first part of the outreach and as we headed to Hamilton for our first stop everyone was tired and I knew that the busyness of the season and work was catching up to my precious team members whom I thank God. Our first stop was Starbucks were we sat to chat and try to get some energy going so we could do what God has called us to do and after praying we set out for our first stop, the Hamilton S**ip where we were able to hand out 40 gift bags to the precious girls in the club. We were able to talk with some who again would ask “Why do you do this?” Most of these precious girls that we have talked to are not from Canada, they have such a thick accent sometimes it is hard to understand them, all we can do is love them, hug them, pray for them and bless them. Lord touch the hearts and lives of those who were there, may they know how valuable and loved they are by you.

Our next stop was Niagara on the Lake were Sherry, Diane and Regine gave 20 gift bags to the bar tender who then would hand them out to the girls, as well as a gift basket for the staff/management. And our next stop was Fort Erie where Diane, Regine and I took in a gift basket for the staff/management and 20 gift bags for the girls and gave them to the bartender. She remembered us from the last time and we stayed and talked with her for awhile. She loved that we gave her and her staff a Christmas gift as well. God is so good and I thank Him for opening doors and providing all that was needed for that night.

Sunday November 29th 2009 Sherry, Dianne and I drove up to Fordwich where I was asked to share my story and share about Under the Influence of JC ministries. It was a wonderful night, the Lord showed up and refreshed the three of us and moved in that tiny church. May God bless, restore and refresh that church and all who attend there. Thank you Pastor Wayne and Gloria for the honor of speaking in your church.

Saturday December 5th 2009 the last part of the Christmas outreach.

Regina and I met up with Sherry, Diane and Becky (who came out to join our team)at our traditional stop Starbucks. We had wonderful food, conversation and prayer before we headed out to our first stop M**ts, where Sherry, Diane and Becky handed out 40 gift bags to the precious girls working in the club, as well as a gift basket for the staff/management. The team was able to talk to some of the girls and show them the love of Christ in a very dark place and I pray that the seeds that were planted will continue to be watered.

Second stop was the **n*ow*er where Sherry and I went in to talk with the management to see if we could hand out the gifts to the girls. It was not the lady that was there last time, this time it was a man. Sherry done the talking as the man was very hesitant in letting us in. Finally he said he wanted to see one of the gifts first before he made his decision. As we were walking out I said to Sherry “I don’t think we will be able to get in, now what? We have 100 gifts for this club alone and a gift basket for the staff.” I was scared and nervous BUT our God is a BIG God and for that I am grateful. When we reached the vehicles we asked the other team members to pray and pray hard. We took one of the gifts into the manager, he looked through all of it and said sure you can bring the gifts in…THANK YOU JESUS=) In this club alone the team and I handed out 100 gifts to the girls. We were able to talk with some of them and again just show them they are precious and loved with no strings attached. Within a few days of handing out the gifts there one of the precious girls emailed me to say thank you, Lord bless her and all that girls in that club.

Our third stop was the **nt**use where we went in to talk with the manager and hand the gift basket to the staff. We were able to go around back and into the dressing room and hand out 50 gift bags to the precious girls working in the club. Not many were working at the time we were there but we left the rest for those who were coming in later, we also had one gift basket left over so we took it in for the staff to enjoy.

God is good my friend and I thank Him for all that He is doing for Under the Influence of JC ministries and for all that He is doing through it. He is the reason why I am here. He brought this dream and this passion to my heart. He is the one who has brought the team together. He is the one who has people donating and helping. He is the reason doors are opening and clubs are even shutting down. We serve a MIGHTY God and I know myself I sometime forget how Big He really is. We need to let Him out of the box that we keep Him in. Everyday we need to say “Lord what do YOU want me to do for YOU today?” Who do you want to bless through me today?” Step out and see what God can do through you. He will never let you down and He will give you ALL that you need to do what He has called you to do. Though satan may try to bring you down…GREATER is HE who is IN YOU, than he who is in the world.

We at Under the Influence of JC ministries ask that you please continue to pray for those, whom we were in contact, pray that the seeds which were planted will be watered. Pray that God will continue to open the doors to where He would want us to go and that He will broaden the horizons. Pray God's hand upon this ministry and that all that is needed will be provided. Pray a passion for us as a team and that the Lord will continue to strengthen us, build us, unite us and grant us the boldness and perseverance to run the race that He has set before us. Pray for me as well as I seek the Lord in getting the papers filled out to apply for our charitable status. I thank you/the team thanks you for your prayers, as prayer plays an important part in this ministry.
