need prayer for my ringing ears, ughh!
I don't want to add to our neverending list of needs and prayer requests, but I just got new hearing aids Friday, and at first, they were ok, a bit different, cuz they are a different kind than what I grew up with, but I was adjusting ok. But then Sunday morning, I started having problems with my ears ringing; it's called tinnitus. The audiologist said she has never had anyone complain about that from getting new hearing aids...and the info. online says its usually from hearing loss, illnesses, head injuries, medicine, etc, etc,...all from physical things...so I don't know what is going on that is causing such severe problems with ringing...but I cannot hear well because the ringing is too loud and interferes with my hearing aids, and is also making me feel rather dizzy, sigh. Sooo, please pray that God will heal the ringing ears, and frankly, my deafness. I know God is the creator of the heavens and the earth...He spoke words, and it came into being...nothing is impossible for Him, as I know we can agree on, right?!
Some scriptures I like:
"As He (Jesus) went along, He saw a man born blind from birth. His disciples asked Him, 'Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?'
'Neither this man nor His parents sinned,' said Jesus, 'But this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life. As long as it is day, we must do the work of Him who sent Me....While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.'
Having said this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man's eyes. 'Go,' He told him, 'wash in the Pool of Siloam' (this word means Sent). So the man went and washed and came home seeing..." (John 9:1-7)
"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is My word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:10-11)
"Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed." (Isaiah 53:4-5)
"My (Paul's) message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith (trust) might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power." (1 Corinthians 2:4-5)
Blessings to you all in the name of Jesus, who loved us all and willingly laid down His life--died-- for us, because we were worth dying for!
