You have what it takes

I am writing this today to the men who are looking for a way out of the darkness of sexual addiction. I am not saying that I have it all together; I don’t, and will be the first to admit I have made very, very bad choices and decisions in my life. But what I see here is a group of men who want to be free and that is so worth every fight you may enter. It takes courage, real courage, courage you have to overcome, to humble yourself and ask God and others for help. You who are reading this post, who chose to be at this site instead of a porn site, YOU have what it takes, you can win in every area of your life. God is so for you and so is every one on this site. Don’t give up, fight the good fight of faith.(what is a good fight? One you WIN) There are so many who will shout approval to you as you make even the smallest steps to freedom, don’t despise the days of small beginnings. You can overcome, the reward is so worth it, don’t quit, don’t quit, don’t quit. God is with you, you have what it takes.

It is true victory is certain if you are willing to make some changes. Speaking from experience it doesn't mean you will just stop. You didn't become hooked on it all @ once and it is a gradual process to change your life habits. The first step of course is admitting you are unable to get there by yourself. You should realize by now that being by yourself is what got you hooked in the first place. All of those hours alone just you and the computer and your fantasy world. Wake up and take charge. It is never too late! Now maybe your like me and though you want people around, you have driven them all away because of your problems with sex and pornography. The general public doesn't understand or even try to. They will not accept the fact that pornography is a pandemic, spreading it's disease all over the world and corrupting the minds of Gods people. They just want you out of their life, maybe locked away where you can rot to death away from them. Don't lose heart, be patient and stand firm. It is true God is reaching out for you, he will put people in your path that will help you get healthy, keep you accountable and help you make good choices. There are many great resources on this site, use them. Stay connected, satan wants you isolated so he can lie to you and tell you your not worth it, you can't change and he will constantly condemn you for what you have done and the people you have hurt. DON'T BELIEVE THOSE LIES. In scripture Paul says, if you have accepted Christ into your life you are a "new creation" the old has passed away. Stay close to God, read your bible, get baptised, renew your faith and when you stumble don't give up. The peace of God is far more enjoyable than the life of fantasy you have lived in.

i heard this prayer even when i "quit" thank you.Im not turning back this time.No longer do i want Impurity by way of sexual addiction in my SOUL.Make the decision to come here BEFORE anywhere else when you feel tempted remember each time you fall/relapse/choose/give in/ youre ultimately hurting yourself and your real live relationships and that "void"is only going to get deeper and deeper each time we/you indulge in porn.No longer.
