Hi,i need prayer please pray for me.ive been on a path for purity and it seems that ive been struggling. especially when i have extra money on hand get tempted to goto the massage parlor.i feel guity and so bad about my self.ill go for about a week without porn and masturbation but its hard.thoughts just keep coming on my mind.i want to be pure and holy.i get in a situation where i have no money bec. i spend it on massages.i feel so bad.i need your prayers. thank you for listening. trying to abide in chirst.

Prayers for you, brother. I have only recently become saved through Jesus and am not familiar enough with the Bible's teachings to offer passages that may guide you. What I can offer is what worked for me in my own experiences as a recovering exploitation survivor, former sex worker and love addict. Many addictions, both substance and behavioral, stem from some type of disturbing or traumatic event(s) that makes a person fall into a pattern of repeated compulsive actions, often as a defense or coping mechanism. If you can pray for the strength to set aside some time and money for therapy, you might come face to face with the real cause for your demons and overcome them more successfully. You got it brother. I will be praying for you. The enemy does not like it when we try to escape the prisons and traps he sets for us and he throughs everything he can at us when we flee the sin. Cling to I Corinthians 10:13 and the promise God makes through Paul there.
