I thought hiding them might help somehow,
It hasn't helped at all.

Into the depths of my iniquities
trapped in a world of profane fantasies
my days poured out in endless vanity
this living hell has become my reality
no longer able to comprehend true love
cut off from the life that comes from above
doomed to dwell in the realms of despair
the call to face the truth, we do not dare
cursed are our lives upon this earth
from the moment of our birth
madness reigns ‘till our last breath
the life we chose has brought us death
year after year in fruitless wandering
a funeral dirge is now the song I sing
drowning in my sins, I have no way to cope
no turning back now, I’ve abandoned all hope
