My precious brother,
1) First of all i want you to know you are not alone,  this temptation is common to every red blooded male in the world. I'm not on here because i was pure as the pure wind-driven snow.   
2) We must hate porn to overcome it.  I had to come to grips that i didn't actually HATE porn.  I hated the misery, the emptiness inside, the results of it.  But i didn't truly hate IT.  if you can hate something because God hates it, that's the best way, for me,  I had to read Mrs. Lubbens pornstar testimonies and see the degradation the women had to put themselves through, the act they put on, the demeaning actions of the males,   I had to fill my mind with what they actually did and how disgusting porn is to overcome all the illusory visions of pleasure my imagination  and satan would parade.  
4) One of the aspects of porn is that Satan likes to use it as a tool to influence people to commit suicide.  This alone shows us that porn is not the goal of satan, our destruction is his true goal. 
5) We must realize lust is always going to be around us. Especially when society influences women from an early age to dress like pornstars.  It's like the weather, it will always be around us, We can shiled ourselves though, we can control our climate as much as possible, we can be entertained by the Holy Spirit rather than the evil one.  We can fill our homes with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.
6) Plan your week ahead of time.  Recognize the times that always are a problem and determine to fill them with something that keeps you far away from easy access to porn.  
7) Finally pray and ask the Lord to show you if something else is actually the problem.  For me, i found that i resented situations in my life.  For example, i resented being single, therefore i have a right to view porn.  My brother we should not resent any situation we are in in life.  Common resentments.- our parents, our economics, our family, our personal talents or lack thereof. anything pretty much can be a resentment and the devil will quickly use that for an excuse to access some porn or other habit that is a weakness for us. 
8) I am very leery of the suggestion to seek help from a girlfriend, that sounds like asking for trouble.  I presume that is well intended advice, but unless she's a recovering porn star, There's a good chance she'll either break up with you, or you'll fall into some fornication which is just as wrong as porn.   I'd start with a trusted male friend or continue to correspond with counselors on this site. 
I love you my brother, We were made for greater things than wasting our lives looking at sex slaves degrade themselve.

A lot of people are struggling a lot with porn addiction, sometimes preachers and priests!
Thing is, while porn addiction is hard to get out of, help is always there when God gets involved!
I have suffered from the same addiction as you, so as some tens of millions of people in the world.
I want you to know, before we start, that you can always defeat what's hunting you.
First, know what really is the reason of your addiction. Sit in a *very* quiet place and think, think a lot! ask yourself "why do i always try to stop porn addiction, and i always end up watching porn in front of my screen?
you will, surely find out why, it's maybe because you are bored, or nervous, or lonely... any reason could be possible, maybe because you have lots of problems.
Second, install an anti-porn software on your laptop/desktop, if you have both then do it on the two of them!
You will try hard to find such software for free, but here's a fast, free and efficient software "K9 web protection", it's *totally* free and very good! visit the: www.k9webprotection.com to install it... It's easy as pie, and downloadable for mac (Macintosh) and PC (windows ...), it really helps you get rid of your habit... But try as much as you can not to cheat with those things.
Third, repent.
Returning to God is not easy as you think, because you have been in an atheist period of your life, and that is harmful for your soul, so try as much as you can to read the Bible, Pray every morning and nigh, go to Church on regular basis (depends on how frequent you can go there), and give your entire day to God (Mother Mary, A Saint for example (St. George, St. Charbel, St. Ignatius...)).
