Today is my one year anniversary on the Pink Cross and my beginning the fight against my porn addiction….my enemy. I have to tell you all it has been a hell of a fight so far, a fight that has been so worth fighting.

Have I won the war? BY NO MEANS!

I’ve been winning battles but I fight every day , I think the enemy seams to get stronger and changes his tactics every day. The big difference is I am a tougher, more experienced fighter than I was one year ago. I can see him coming now, sometimes he surprises me and catches me off guard or when I am weak. The enemy hits me hard, sometimes he knocks me down, I get up quickly and I hit him back, harder than he hits me. It is the same routine every day and this is how I see it.

Brothers, if you are reading this you are in the fight…are you winning any battles? Remember as with any fight, you cannot sustain to many blows before you are beaten down and left for dead or captured by the enemy.

What do I have one year after the start:

A better relationship and appreciation for God.
A better relationship and appreciation for my wonderful Wife.
A better relationship and appreciation for my wonderful children.
A better relationship and appreciation for myself and life.
A better Love life
Better concentration at my job.
Better health
More hobbies
More energy
Better self esteem
The biggest and best benefit I have since last year is that I AM NOT ENSLAVED BY THIS ENEMY ANYMORE!

My enemy fears, love, God, respect, caring, kindness, tenderness, togetherness, forgiveness, perseverance, understanding, diligence, loyalty,integrity etc. These are my weapons, weapons that I was not proficient with a year ago.

Brothers use these weapons against your enemy, keep them handy and use them often. The smell of Victory is sweet, count your victories and blessings and your strength will grow and grow.
