6 uncomfortabe pillows, up half the night waiting fo a text from my wife to tell me that my son arrived home safely from his first road trip with friends. I prayed all day that he would arrive safe and he did. Could not get back to sleep, turning on the laptop would have been bad. Turned the tv on to find a documentary on porn, how convieniant was that, who would know? I thought about it but quickly change the Chanel and watched something else. I felt that giving in would betray God for bringing my son home safe. I prayed my self to sleep. It was a tough night but I made and stayed clean and just wanted to share the experience.

Temptation to look at porn will always exist until you (and we) see sex sins as God sees them and can understand why they are so offensive to him. Jesus shed His innocent blood and life for those ones people watch and he has a compassionate heart for their souls. He values them because he died for them. His blood sacrifice was worth immeasureable price and so is every human to him! So we should see each other and ourselves that way too. When we get to that place of understanding, we won't see them as objects for our sexual arousal anymore but as people with families and friends, and someone's daughter. How would we like it if someone was looking at our daughters? If you see the women and men of porn the way God does, you could stand knee-deep in it without it causing you to fall. If you happen to see it, pray for that or those individuals to be saved and not spend eternity in a God-less hell just as God has saved you from by his grace. God bless you in your determination to be free of this killer of marriages and society as a whole. Sex sins kill the spirit of everyone who does it and watches it... "Twas blind but now I see......"
That is awesome! God's grace is forever forgiving, Huh? You did the right thing! Keep that attitude and you will be amazed at the blessings you will recieve. It's so cool how things change when we walk straight.
