Accountability Partners

Hi everyone. I'm still struggling with porn addiction. I haven't looked at porn in about a week and a half and I don't want to look at it again. One of the things I've already done on my path to recovery is purchase a "Kick Porn" e-book, which has proven to be helpful with its spiritual and practical advice. One of the things it says to do is find some accountability partners. So, my question to you all is: Where can I find some accountability partners? I currently don't go to any groups, however, I'm willing to try almost any group that deals with addictions. I'm just trying not to isolate like I've done in the past, which is a sure recipe for failure. Thanks for reading and for any comments you may share.

Ian,
I'm pretty new considering I'm 1.5 hours short of 5 days of not looking. Considering you are a bit ahead of the game then me, then it would be true incentive, I think.

Download the e-book called "Sozo Manual". There's all kinds of things in that e-book that will direct you in the things to pray for that can lead to you being delivered from porn.
Thank you, graphicartist2k5, for the link to the e-book. I looked at it and it did have some helpful info. The reason I was asking for help in the form of an accountability partner was that
I had a bad day recently where I looked at porn for a long time. I just felt like I needed to do something different in order to kick this porn addiction. I have been making up excuses for looking at the porn. I mean, I've read some of the testimonies on this website from former porn stars, and the truth hasn't sunk in? But, I'm NOT giving up on myself. I know I can overcome this addiction/obsession with God's help. Lord knows, I've prayed to God to help me not look at pornography. But, I didn't take any real action and, therefore, I kept looking at it. But, I'm taking real action now and, for the first time, I'm starting to take my spiritual life seriously. And it feels good. But, I had to feel VERY bad about my actions and my lack of action before I even started to take my spiritual life seriously, which includes reading from God's word, praying, etc. So, once again, thank you, graphicartist2k5, for the link and for any more advice you may have.
If you're not already connected with a Holy Spirit-filled church, then I HIGHLY suggest praying to God and asking Him to lead you to the church He wants you to attend. God will direct you to those that can help you and can be accountability partners.
