Unsure what to do
Greetings from Australia.
I am a 41 yr old married mother of two, my husband and I operate our own construction business and I run the office from an office adjacent to our house.
I have not spoken to anyone about my problem, I am too embarrassed to go to my doctor but I have developed a habit of watching porn on the office pc and masturbating numerous times during the day. I might add here that we have very few people who need to visit our office so I spend many hours alone in the office.
I know whenever I am alone I will look at an erotic web site and that is the end of my self control.
I do not wish to offend anyone on this site but I am not a religous person and I am trying to find if there is help for someone like me. This is the only website that I have found which caters for women with addiction to porn.
Perhaps there is another place that uses different approaches to dealing with this addiction where I may find help.
I would appreciate your views please.

Welcome to the forums, and no, we are not offended if you aren't christian and/or don't really want christian/religious help. You are more than welcome to stick around and chat with us, but I am not aware of any forums on sex addictions for women that are not christian. Did you type that in and see if you could find one? I would refer you to Dr. Patrick Carnes, a well-known psychologist who specializes in sex addictions. He has a website sexhelp.com that you can go to to get information. He also has a number of books on the issue as well. I hope that will help you find what you need. Let us know if you need more assistance! :)
