Encouragement
Its a rough day, matter of fact its been a rough week, but God is good.
Hi, this is Jan formerly a BBW porn star named Elizabeth Rollings. Life has never been to easy, but it was especially hard in the adult entertainment industry. I know the struggles and I know the loneliness some of you might feel, I've been there and done that more than once. I just wanted to let you know that whatever storm you're in, no matter how hot the heat of your circumstances are, no matter who says what about you, God is greater than all of these things, if only you'll allow him to be.
Faith isn't easy, believe me I know, but if you just allow God to take over, if you truly give him your fears and anxieties, he'll show up to help you out of them. Theres a lot on my heart and mind to say, I want to be a voice of inspiration and comfort, I'm no expert on anything, but I know and have seen how real God is and I would love to share that with you all. In short, I'm hear for you if you need a friend.
Patience is definitely a virtue, I'm busy with kids, work and school, but I promise if you want to talk I'll try to be there as much as possible.

wow, this is really great stuff. I think whenever I need a boost, I can look here for some hope and wisdom - I can see God's light in the words posted here!!! Thank you everyone for participating in recovery here. What a nice little recovery oasis I have found on the internet! It is nice just to know that there are others out there like me who have struggled as I have and have made it through the storm!!! Just being able to recognize the blessings in my life is a huge step for me and a great relief to be able to see I am no longer alone for God and Jesus are always at my side. Much peace and <3 to you all!
Thank you for the lovely words in return. I know how hard it is and can be so I just want to be a light in a dark world. I have been through and understand many struggles, not only from the adult industry, but marriage, divorce, children and life in general. I love you all in Christ, be blessed and don't ever hesitate to talk to me if need be, I'm an open book.

Beautifully said!! I'm glad to see you posting here.
None of us here are experts...at least, I know I'm not.
Even so, the beautiful thing about these forums is that we are able to share what the Lord has brought us through, and taught us in the process, and just be a support and encouragement to one another. Thank you for being willing to listen, because that's what most of us here need.....just someone to listen.
Truly, it is the LORD who is our counselor.
I hope to see you here more often.

Jan, I pray that God will provide a wonderful blessing to finish off a rough week. I'm glad to meet someone else who can relate to the struggles and difficulties. He is definitely good and sees us through all the pot holes and can guide us around the land mines if we stay focused on Him.
1 Thessalonians 1:2-3, "We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father."
I also pray that Jesus will ease the burden on your heart. Like you, I'm no expert either. Isn't it wonderful to learn from the Great Teacher that Jesus is? Even though faith is hard, hang in there, Jan, and enjoy the tremendous awe of His patience, forgiveness, and comfort :)
