As this Christmas season seems to be pushing upon us, it seems that many are seeking. Some are seeking for someone or something to fill that loneliness that seems to be getting stronger as the day draws near. Some are seeking after that perfect gift. The right outfit to wear to those Christmas gatherings. Some are seeking for something or someone to fill the the need that we seem to have withing us. The children put their hope in Santa, with the anticipation that they will get all that they ask Him for.

We are all in need of the perfect gift. We are all seeking for that one thing that will fill the hole that is in our heart and in our lives. We believe that there is something, that is why we seek.

My friend we need to realize that we need to seek no more. There is the perfect gift that is available at no charge for all each of us. (not just for the rich, or the one who makes the most money, BUT for all of us)There is no price tag. There is no seeking frantically or standing in long line ups. There is no putting it on lay away and paying so much every week for it...it is the ULTIMATE gift.

It is the gift that Jesus Christ gave to each and every one of us when He was beaten, bruised,spit upon, kicked,broken and then placed and nailed upon the cross, shedding His blood for each of us. He loved us so much that he willingly laid His life down. He stands with open arms waiting for us as a gentlemen waits. All we need to do is seek,ask and receive.

There are no rules, no fixing yourself before He will accept you into His family. All you need to do my friend is ask Him to fill you, to forgive you, to come into your life and give you all that He's got. Then believe that He loves you. And fix your eyes upon Him and His ways. He will be there for you my friend, walking beside you as you continue to learn more about Him, His life. He walked on this earth as as man. He felt all that we feel. He felt pain. He wept. He was human just like each and every one of us. He came as a man and died as a man. He did this so we could have the ULTIMATE gift. If you are seeking for the most precious and valuable gift, you need to look no further than the cross.

He died to give us life. So let's start living.
