God's plan is not to harm you, but to love you. There may be times when you don't feel like He does, or that you are unworthy of His love....yet He sent His son to die for you. That's so awesome, you guys. I'm telling you, I'm reading some of these threads, including this one, and am getting so refreshed. Sometimes, we tend to forget the simple truths, and we need to go back to basics.
This was encouraging!!! It reminds me of the account in Matt. 15:21-28, when the Lord commends the Gentile woman for her faith, when she told Jesus ".....even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from the Master's table."
I love this story, because the woman not only had faith in the Lord's strength, but in His goodness and compassion. She had faith, not only that He [u]could[/u] help her, but that He [u]would[/u], because He was a Man of compassion and love.....and He is a God of compassion and love, as well.
I know that I tend to fall into this trap, too, of not trusting in God's kindness and compassion, but the Bible says that we must have faith, and this includes faith in His love, and that he always does what is best for us.
This is an important truth. Thank you [u]so much[/u] for reminding us of it.
He created an "out" for us to save us to bring us into close relationship with Him so that He can love us and we can love Him back.
Thanks for sharing this, Carrie and babybluejeans...we do need to be reminded of God's love and His desire to be intimate with us...and that He is with us through all our struggles.
