Next thing is they'll just blatantly tell her to go have babies or something totally off the wall. Someone find out who runs that school and flood there mail box, email, and phone lines with protest. She's trying to stand up and set a standard for purity! This is just sad really sad and disheartening.

First I thought that the

First I thought that the article is a joke. But I have to believe it's true, unfortunately. People attacks against living christianity everywhere in this world. For example here in Finland teachers doesn't have right to say to children in elementary school that Jesus died for our sins. They can only say that "Bible says" Jesus died for our sins. They can't say it as a fact. In some schools praying is banned too. Things have changed very fast within last 20 years. When I was in elementary school on the 80's we prayed a lot, for example before lunch.

Those kind of news make me sad!

But we don't bash other

But we don't bash other peoples religions. They make it look as we are the crazy ones and the people who worship Buddah as the greatish people alive. Not bashing anybody for that, its just that we respect what religion they have chosen but why can't we be respected for the one we have chosen? It doesn't make any sense to me. But then again, Christ said the world hates us, it hated Christ first. *sigh*

They say that they banned

They say that they banned the ring because it's a hazard, but they really didn't explain how it was hazardous. It just makes no sense.

It sounds like she was wearing it more as a social statement than a religious statement. I don't think that the school had any right to ban her from wearing it.

Actually they did state why

Actually they did state why the ring shouldn't be worn. Science/Tech. classes, physical ed. this that and the other. But there is no reason why the young lady could not take it off specifically for those classes.

Personally I'm not suprised at the uproar of the School. 1st, it's the UK, they give us the Beetles and we give them chastity rings. Pompous Americans that we are LOL. 2nd the schools sure as heck wouldn't want to be responsible for coupling chastity with their human science/sex ed. classes.

All in all I think it looked more like an ad for the Chastity ring using the Jonas Bros. as the spokesmen.

It's a wicked world.

God bless you,
SoA

You have GOT to be kidding

You have GOT to be kidding me! Of all the nerve! Sheesh. How many times to people talk about doing good in the world and the one time somebody does they get banned for it? This totally disappoints me.

Unbelievable!

Thanks for the info. It is sad to see what's going on in the world.

Jesus and I care for you. John 317 (Amplified Bible) For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.
