I've cut off my access to the net

After much consideration I have decided to cut off my internet access for a while.
I figure that this is the best way for now to remove the temptation to look at porn on the net.
I can check email and visit this site on a friends computer and that's really all I need for now.
If I ever get past the point of being tempted I will reestablish my personal internet access

Sounds like a wise decision on your part. I know that God will honor it.
Its a difficult thing, because on the one hand, the internet is so necessary for so many of us, but then again, what is more needful -- having internet access, or your spiritual well-being?!

I've blocked facebook, at least for lent, considering blocking a few other things as well. I think getting past the point of temptation is unrealistic, getting the power to overcome is the goal...by whatever means neccessary!
