Hey folks.  Been a long time since I was here.  Worked with a guy in the carpentry business who told me he was a "registered sex offender".  He told me he served a 6 month prison sentence for it and he publically apologized before his church.  From what I can tell, the guy has done everything to make right where he wronged everyone.  We got to talking about men's ministries and the LACK of teaching about these "sex topics".  He said, "I just got caught.  It's a MAJOR problem everywhere.  I twisted God's Word to keep my wife beaten down in 'submission' so I could use her for sex- any way, any time I wanted it. I totally abused her and God.  Porn was a major factor in all of it and I'm surprised at how many preachers aren't addressing the men's treatment of women and their wives."  I said, "I wonder WHY that is."  He said, "Because they are perpetuating the problem from the pulpit because they too are twisting God's Word to use their wives wrongly.  God won't stand for it because all of this 'love-making' has NOTHING to do with LOVE."  He told me, "The best thing his wife did for him was STOP having any sexual contact with him so that he could STOP abusing her and God's intention for sex."  He said, "At first I was really mad because I always thought a man was 'entitled' to orgasm and ejaculate any time he wanted.  I didn't know the meaning of God's definition of Self Control.  I used scripture against her.  It no longer worked and she did what was right.  That is how God began to use her to help me get out of the WRONG thinking that porn and some churches teach about sex. I've learned that the ONLY RIGHT any man has on this earth is to LOVE as God loves.  If we don't, we're on our own and NO WIFE is obligated to go to bed with us.  In fact- they are following GOD when they don't."
I learned alot from this guy. We men are pathetic creatures and we all need to get on our knees before God and tell Him that we're going to STOP treating our wives like pieces of meat- only there for "our" pleasure.  All they want is to LOVED- truly LOVED- with the example of Love God has given.  If we can't do that, we don't deserve to experience marriage and the privilege of "being connected" with another human being.
God is telling us, "STOP with the porn. STOP with the loveless way of life. START Loving Me.  START Loving your wives and leave your sorry sex attitude behind."
I say, "Amen and Amen". Let's MAN UP Guys. Preachers- start teaching men how to Love God and Love God yourselves. Loving wives in and out of the bedroom will naturally follow. Who wouldn't want to be with a husband who is LOVING like God is?  Let's face it- wives have dealt with ENOUGH of our CRAP way of living and our crappy sex. They weren't created for us to USE. They've had ENOUGH.
My "Sex Offender" friend told me that he's feeling led to put his fear aside and start teaching and ministering to men about these issues that no one wants to talk about and start telling wives to stop helping their husbands stay in their sick way of thinking.  I said, "Well, I guess it's about time."
