Shelley Speaks to LA County Board of Supervisors
Shelley Lubben, former porn actress, testifies along side of AIDS Healthcare to make a whole hearted plea to LA County Board of Supervisors to do something about the rampant sexually transmitted diseases and illegal and hazardous work conditions that adult film workers are subjected to daily in the California porn industry where 85% of the world's pornography is made. Supervisor Yarovslovsky miraculously acknowledged us after our testimony and said "This is a legitimate issue" and also, "If we can do something about it we will." Thank you Supervisor Yarovslovsky!

They need new jobs, resumes, new clothes, utilities paid, places to live and rehabs and right now we do not have enough donations coming in to help them all. Hi Ryan,
We know that the men doing porn have problems - ok, major problems - too. Thing is, you are the only male that has come forward. I personally do not feel comfy about men involved in the extreme abuse of the girls. The acts that they do 'to' these girls is disgusting and goes far past the term 'extreme'.
Until i read more male stories, i will remain silent. Or, better yet, how do the men in transexual porn deal with "their" lifestyle? I'll bet they feel the shame just like the girls do, but we never hear about it is all.

To tell you the truth I have more for you right now than the girls I mostly have a few purses and some size 8 high heel boots for them. I pray one of the girls has big enough feet.Don't say any names Ryan. I have mostly shirts right now I'm just waiting on money to send the packages down.

Hey Shelly, listen I got an over coat and pants from Goodwill for $20 and they were nice clothes! I'm 6'8 so it was really impressive. My point is this if the girls don't mind clothes from Goodwill when I get some extra money I could let you know and (get a girl from my church to help me)shop for one of the girls or guys and get then an outfit or something. ( Like i said I'll get a girls help on the outfit thing.)
Would you give us their sizes or would you just have me just buy it and send it and let some of the girls try them on? Oh I've got some guys shirts I could send you that I don't where and the guys could look through them. Let me know. I also sent you and e-mail about a flash drive it you want it it's 2 gig and it's new. People are giving me flash drives left and right this semester. I'm like what gives? (No pun intended.)
