Three More Porn Stars Have Passed Away
I am extremely sad to report that more porn stars have died too young.
Blue Iris, from Burbank, California, has suffered a heart attack in April, 2009, which left her braindead. In 2008 she had a 7 pound tumor removed from one of her ovaries. She was 61 years old when she died.
Steven J. LaPeikis, known as gay porn star Steve Pierce, passed away on March 12, 2009 in Palm Springs. No reason has been given yet. He was 44 years old.
Gay porn star Caleb Carter hung himself and died at 24 years old.
No note was left behind. However, other sites have blogged that Carter had been attempting to wean himself off Paxil, Paroxetine, and Atripla. They also claim the Coroner’s Investigative report said Caleb was HIV positive.
My heart goes out to all of the family members because they simply lost their loved ones too early.
The porn industry kills. It is a physically and emotionally stressful lifestyle and takes more lives due to HIV, suicide and drug overdose than any other industry.
May God have mercy on their beautiful souls. Please pray for all of the friends and family who have lost their loved ones.

It's hard to imagine anything worse for a young man than to be in the prime of his life then find out he has AIDS, especially if it was due to a lifestyle he chose despite the warning signs along the way. It would be easy for him to feel painted into a corner he couldn't get out of, especially bad if he felt like he'd let down the people he cared about most in his life. There were so many times in my own life that I could have gotten painted into a corner and it was only by the grace of God that it didn't, so I'm in no position to judge him for his lifestyle. I'm just thankful for ministries like this that can bring the light of life to those who can find themselves overwhelmed with such darkness, and hope to be more effective in someday reaching out to others myself. Thanks, Shelley for answering God's call on your life!
I pray for Iris, for Caleb, and for Steven, for the forgiveness of their sins, the salvation of their souls, and for strength and comfort for all who grieve and mourn for them today, for all who are affected by the manner of their living, and the manner of their dying. This I pray, in Our Lord Jesus Christ's name, amen.
