Hello Shelley - I have been watching your site for awhile now and am very impressed about how passionate you are about helping others. I have worked in the biz for about 12 years now and fortunately, have never experienced or witnessed any of the atrocities you talked about on the talk show or in your blogs. Do you feel that all adult companies, producers and directors are so horrible? I have met some amazing people in the industry who are kind, considerate, respectful and intelligent. Of course, there are bad seeds in any industry, but luckily, I have not had to deal with many. The good have always outweighed the bad for me. Am I just blind or just extremely lucky? I feel the guilt, shame and intolerance about sexuality and pornography in our Puritanical society is far more dangerous than porn itself. Any thoughts? Thanks for your time!

During the interview, Joni asked "This is a mammoth task; do you feel you're making a dent?" Here's my comment: It made me think of a true short story. Mother Teresa was in a very poor village and the people were in danger because of a war going on. Mother Teresa's plan was to move everyone to safety, but a man said to her,"It's impossible to move everybody to safety." Then he asked her "How are we going to move all these people?" Mother Teresa, with a small sick child in her arms looked at the man and said "One at a time." My opinion;that's how you get people away from porn;one at a time. God Bless.

Watching TV last night with my youngest son...and flipping stations. I came across Judge Hatchett and Shelley I saw that episode of you helping the teen girl. At that point, my channel surfing stopped. That too, was a great show.

i saw shelley on judge hatchett also a few weeks ago. and it was a 2007 show. i was like man i watch her court show all the time and just now seeing shelley on it. it amazed me though. this ministry is really spreading

Shelley I watched you on the joni show and I have to tell you I ve got so much freiken respect for you, your a straight up soulja Walkin up into the porn convention and the other places where you blatently objected porn right in front of the porn industry thats friekin amaziing!!!I really love an respect you and everyone thats in this with you.when you were talkin about how the managers of the porn industry treated the girls and made them feel like the grls dont have a choice but to stay in it made me wanna run into a porn shoot wth a bat and just start beatin some of those punks down.Im a pretty well nown rapper over in oklahoma and I want you to know that Im gona call your name out in some of my songs and maybe even make a song about the realities in the porn industry and If theres ever anything I could do for you guys short of running into a porn shoot wita bat (maybe even that lol)jez tell me cuz I got yalls back all the way and the whole industry really pisses me off...stay relentless but loving...and God bless
OMG you have to be kidding! That show is older than my grandmother. I was just a young twerp back then.
I'm still a twerp but just a little older. (smile)
I remember on that show God made me reach out in the worst part of Hollywood on Adams Ave to some prostitutes and homeless in the dumpster while we were filming. The producers thought I was crazy. The lady with AIDS thought I was out of my mind when I asked to pray for her for God to heal her.
And I did it with heels and sparkly jeans on. LAUGHING OUT LOUD AT MYSELF!!!
You know, it's fun to me some times. (smile)
God never lets us forget where we've been huh??? I think it's great that you can laugh out loud at yourself! It's very therapeutic sometimes!

It's incredibly encouraging to someone like me. I've seen some of the ugly fallout of what porn does to someones mind.
