"Doctor" Sharon Mitchell does NOT have a medical degree but walks around in a white lab coat offering a false sense of security to young and naive porn stars. She blatantly admits on her web site:

 

"Basically, I put Band-Aids on shotgun wounds all day."

 

She also says, "We deal with everyday with Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Hepatitis all types, A, B, and C. We deal with Gonorrhea of the throat. We deal with things you can’t possibly imagine that are not normally a sexually transmitted disease that are a sexually transmitted disease in porn." Video here.

 

But former porn actresses are fighting back and have their painful stories about the TRUTH about the hazardous work conditions and the rampant sexually transmitted diseases they were subjected to while on the porn set. HIV, Herpes, Hep C, Chlaymida, Gonorrhea, and HPV, which leads to cervical cancer. 

 

It can also lead to death. Over 100 porn performers have died from AIDS.

For years, the Pink Cross has been speaking the truth about the rampant STDs and violence against women in the porn industry which has all happened under the watch and care of this 'clinic' which is run by the industry itself!  

 

In September, 2009, Los Angeles County Department of Public Health reported 2,396 cases of Chlamydia, 1,389 cases of gonorrhea, and five syphilis cases among porn performers. It was also reported that Chlamydia and gonorrhea prevalence in porn performers is ten times higher than that of Los Angeles County 20-24 year olds and five times higher than that of one of Los Angeles County’s highest risk populations. Just recently, another porn performer was tested and found to be HIV positive which adds to the previous 25 cases of HIV that were reported by Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation (AIM) since 2004.

 

Thanks to your prayers and support, we see the authorities doing something about it. Please continue to pray that the fraudulent clinic will remain closed. Please also pray the modern day porn slave trade will be wiped off the face of the earth and that God continue to rescue and heal the lives of those trapped in porn.
