Each person received a personalized box filled to overflowing with Bibles, books, DVDs, bath and beauty supplies, jewelry, festive Christmas candles, chocolate treats, and Shelley's book, Truth Behind the Fantasy of Porn, which she personally signed with her own special message of love and encouragement. 

Team member Heather knitted gorgeous pink and white scarves to put in the gift boxes, and there were even some baby scarves and DVDs for the children. Even Howard Stern received a handmade scarf and gift box.

What made this particular outreach so special was that most of the girls who packed the boxes were actually recipients of those gift boxes in the past. They understood first-hand the joy that these gift boxes bring, and how meaningful they are to the recipients. Extra-special care was taken in filling each and every one, and each box was personalized and tailor-made for its recipient. We realize that for many of these people, this is the only gift that they will receive this Christmas, so we make sure that every box is special.

Garrett even baked homemade Christmas treats for the occasion. It was a beautiful time of love, support, and encouragement for everyone. Everyone there felt like family.

By the end of the day, all of the boxes were packed and ready to go. We know that God expedited the shipping of these boxes, as just a few days after the outreach we already started receiving thank you's from several of the recipients, saying how much they love the boxes, and how thrilled they were to receive a copy of Shelley's book.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this outreach, both financially and through prayer. We could not have sent out this many boxes without all of your generous donations. You brought joy to many hurting and lonely people this Christmas.
