There's a new film in town and it's called, "After Porn Ends" which is the #1 documentary download on iTunes, and #31 movie download overall.  The documentary examines the lives of what life is like for porn stars "after porn". The film is rated R and does have graphic sexual content. Please BE AWARE before viewing it.

On Sunday, June 3, two of the film's featured interviewees Mary Carey and Shelley Lubben took part part in "Porn Stars for Puppies (and Cats, too!)" -- a special dog and cat adoption in partnership with L.A. Animal Rescue to help deserving animals find homes.

The event took place at Tailwaggers in Hollywood with Mary and Shelley along with actors, friends and family. Shelley and team members from Pink Cross Foundation also raised awareness about the harms of pornography at the event handing our free resources and giving away free copies of Shelley's book. Shelley also gave several interviews to local media, enlightening them about what life is really like for women "after porn".

"After Porn Ends" features interviews with 13 former adult stars, many legendary in their realm including onetime California gubernatorial candidate Mary Carey, Houston, Crissy Moran, Raylene, Asia Carrera, Seka, Randy West, Amber Lynn, Bill Margold (considered the "Industry Godfather" by many), Tyffany Million, John Leslie (a veteran of 542 titles who passed away recently), Nina Hartley ("Boogie Nights"), Shelley Lubben (who became an anti-pornography advocate after a short run in the business), Richard Pacheco and Luke Ford (author of "The History of X: 100 Years of Sex in Film").

Produced by Christopher Mallick -- founder of the groundbreaking film company Oxymoron Entertainment -- along with Andy Weiss and Susan Dynner, the film is now available via On Demand Release by Gravitas Ventures, reaching 100 million households. The film is also available now for purchase on Amazon and Vudu, and will be released on DVD August 21. The film is also a centerpiece feature at this year's Hollywood Fringe film festival in June.
